Jounaling- Will It Help You Reach Your Dreams?

Journal writing is a great way to work on issues and changes you need to make, so that you can manifest more of your dreams.

There are so many types of journals, and ways to keep one.   Which type is best?

Here are a couple of types of writing that can help you get to your dreams faster.

A GOAL JOURNAL

Keeping a goal journal is very important to reach your dreams.

Keep a list of 4 or 5 dreams and goals you are working on, and  check in on them regularly.  Make sure they are worded in the present, and based on what you want to have for  your end result.  You also could have a goal that is an interim step to the end result that you are working on, and break your goals down into smaller steps.

Review your goals often.  The Release Program in our resources section can help you towards your goals.  You can find information about this in the right side bar menu.

A DIALOGUE JOURNAL

Keeping a journal in dialogue form is a very powerful way to work on your goals.  Write to a part of yourself, and then answer back from another part of you. You can dialogue with your higher self.   You can also dialogue with a part of you that you feel is working against you in getting to your goal.

For example,  dialogue with the part that keeps eating, or shopping, or starting arguments.  Find out what this  part wants from you, and how to meet it’s needs another way.  Work with it.

When doing dialogue journaling, it is important not to judge any parts of yourself.  Be very gentle.  You can debate,  and still be respectful of  that part and it’s voice.

In dialogue journaling,  sometimes some powerful negative energies can come up such as self hating voices that seem to want to harm you.

You may need to seek the support of a professional counselor or therapist if it seems like you are  releasing more intense energy and emotion than you are prepared to handle right now.

This type of journal can be very helpful.

I like to do a dialogue writing  with my higher self often when I am faced with a decision.  I do not question where the information comes from or if it is valid.  I always find it is useful.   I do not always follow exactly what my higher self might suggest. It is always a choice.

FEELINGS JOURNAL

Keeping a feelings journal is another good way to release emotions that may be blocking your dreams.

Again, make sure you do not judge.  Be as gentle and nurturing as you can possibly be with these parts of you.

Strong emotions and crying may ensue.  Think of this as a good thing.  Getting the emotions released is helping you free yourself to work to your goals.

Allow yourself the time to let anger, sadness, grief ,and other emotions surface.  It is not negative thinking to let them out.  It is more damaging to you to not let them out, because they will hang around, go underground and block your dreams, perhaps without you even knowing about  it.

Emotional Freedom Technique

The emotional freedom technique is a really powerful method to clear up blocks of any kind.  Try it on some of your lesser issues first.  Gradually work up to more intense and  deeper issues. If at any point,  you feel the releasing is too intense, then you may want to seek out an EFT professional.  I would caution you  in using it on post traumatic stress, and abuse issues without additional support being available to you.  It can stir up some powerful feelings at times.

This amazing technique can clear up an issue in a few hours.  You can use it over and over on the same issue until you feel the emotional charge of that issue is gone.

Using this method can help you in any area you are struggling-finances, health, relationships, past trauma, or just about any issue in your life.

Is giving key to abundance?

Does giving have an effect on your abundance?
A lot of people feel that giving is very important in allowing your abundance to flow freely. I have heard this opinion offered by many people with examples of how many of the wealthiest people in the world were very generous in giving to others less fortunate than themselves.

It is true that many wealthy individuals have felt that giving was key to their own abundance. They gave freely, and often.

I have to say that I like the idea. I feel that we are all here to have joyful experiences, and also to help others as we can.

Giving can show that we trust our abundance to continue to flow as we need it. It is a way of demonstrating that more is always coming to us, and it is safe to let go of some of what we have. If we accept the idea that our flow does not come from us, but rather from our creator, then passing some of it to those in need shows our trust in our supply and in our creator.
Giving makes us feel good, and can raise our vibration.

It is not necessary to give so much we deny our own needs and pleasures. If we don’t have a lot of money to give, there are still many ways of giving. We can give our time and attention. We can share or pass on things we know longer need or want, without being so concerned about the monetary value.

These days I find I am much less concerned about my stuff and what it is worth. I am more likely to just give something away I know longer need to someone who needs or appreciates it and not be bothered with advertising or selling it. I know that more is always just around the corner and that it is safe to create space. I love letting go of things.

I have noticed other changes too. I no longer react when I get a fund raising call. I used to get angry and upset. Often in the past, I would not take these calls, or judge the person on the phone for bothering me. Now I may give or not, and either way it is a conversation. I can say no or yes without getting bothered either way. I don’t feel guilty if I say no and I don’t fret about if it was a legitimate charity or not. It is only money and it is for using, and for giving. I am much less attached to it.

I can’t honestly say I have noticed any correlation with my giving and increased money coming to me, or any thing like that. I do, however think it is connected to our abundance. Perhaps it is just the attitude it allows us to have that makes a difference.

The Release Technique-My Story

The Release Technique that you get as part of the Abundance Course  is on the top of my list of all the programs or products I have ever tried. I am already past middle age, so this is a lot of programs and products  I am talking about.

I have gotten so much personally out of this program. I am so excited about it.  It is something  I will  use everyday for the rest of my life.

The first time I experienced how much it can help to clear blocks was when I was trying to get my house rented.  About 15 months ago, I was trying to rent a property I was unable to sell. I had it listed for a long time, and just could not find a tenant.  It is a big house,  4 baths, gardens, and a lot of land so I knew it would have to be the right family to rent it. I was worrying financially.  It was September, and I was concerned about heating it, and on and on.

I released on it with the tapes I had ordered a few weeks before from the Release Technique.  I actually got mine on Amazon.  I wish I had ordered them from the program, because there are things for support they offer I did not get.  It was a collection of CD’s, and book.

Well, anyway- I am getting sidetracked here.  I was telling you about releasing about my house.  I was very frustrated and getting negative about the whole house thing.

After releasing on it,  I got a call that very weekend from a couple that were interested in it and were moving out from another state.  I met with them. They have turned out to be the absolutely perfect people to rent it. They are very happy there and so am I to have it rented by such nice folks.  I have since had many experiences like this using the Abundance Tapes.  I really believe that it can help us to remove blocks that we are putting in our way. Blocks, that maybe we don’t even know about ourselves.

Fear-Dare To Pass?



So, what to do when the big fear monster comes up.
Don’t try to tell me you don’t have any fear. I won’t believe you.
Fear is probably the biggest killer of dreams on the planet.
I know because I have wrestled the fear monster many times.
Many times she or he has won. Too many.

I have come to the conclusion now that I will win from now on. In order to outwit the fear monster, you really have to know it and be able to face it down.

Here are some things to know.
In spite of the fact that it may tell you some horrible things will happen if you do XYZ, it is lying.
It will not kill you to face it down even though it may feel like that.
The bigger the dream, the bigger the fear.
If you are really scared to try something, your onto a really big dream. Good for you.

The best solution sometimes to deal with it is to make it your ally.
First we have to figure out why it is trying to scare you from doing something you want to do.
The bigger the dream, the bigger the fear, as I said.
The fear monster is trying to help you, that is the weirdest part about it all. How can you work with it and not let it get you.

I said meet it head on.

Journal with it. Or Talk to it whichever works best for you. Out loud. ( But in private- We don’t want you hauled off)
Let it know you appreciate it trying to help you. Give it a name.
Ask it what it is trying to protect you from? Looking bad, failing?
Let it know you appreciate it sharing but you are still going ahead.
If it has some good points take them into account and maybe you can strike a deal. Ask it questions and find out why it is protecting.
Fear is usually protecting from
losing approval( failure)
feeling unsafe ( survival)
Find out which one or maybe it is both.

Lets say your fear monster says.
” You can’t afford to start this business. You don’t have the money. You are going to get into financial trouble. ( They are smart so he will remind you of all your previous failures.) or
If you jump out of that plane you are going to die. Your parachute will not open.
So, strike a deal or let him know how your going to address this.
We have both survival( security) and approval here. You will have all your financial stuff worked out, or you will make sure the parachute is checked out really well beforehand.
Say
” Thanks for sharing this with me …blah, blah, blah, and this is what I am going to do so it works this time. Then make a promise of what it is. If you can’t calm it down, well then just proclaim that you are going to do it and you want it on your side. So, please support me because I am going ahead.

When I made my first blog post on my very first blog ever, I was terrified. I knew it was irrational to be that scared, but at the time it really felt like something bad would happen. Nothing did and soon, I was having great fun and no fear writing on the web.

You deserve those big dreams. I know you can get around the fear monster. You will if you don’t give up. It is really not as scary as you think once you get to know it. Don’t let it bluff you.

Getting Unstuck in Your Dream Quest

OK, so the inevitable happens.  You have been working on creating something for quite a while and the energy feels stuck.   It is not happening and you see no way it can.
You can tell because you feel a kind of ick in your chest when you visualize or thoses voices are saying it can never  happen.  There is something there in the way and if  you really tune in, you can feel it.

This happens probably more times than not when you first are trying to make a dream manifest using law of attraction principles.  If the path were clear already, most likely you would have that dream now anyway.  This is the challenge that makes manifesting seem hard and convinces a lot of people it does not really work.

So what to do when you feel that stuck feeling in your chest.

In order for your dream to manifest the way must be clear. Any negative or limiting beliefs have to be cleared out or they will stop you.  Exploring what is in the way is a big help to clearing it.

First, you need to really believe that you deserve this thing that you are wanting.  You need to examine any beliefs that might be telling you otherwise.  I am being selfish is a good example of a belief like that.  Write down some evidence and positive statements and start to replace that self talk with more positive beliefs.  Sometimes writing them out can help. You can see how silly they are when you see them written on paper.

Beliefs can be changed once we become aware of them.

There are some techniques that are good for clearing that can be pretty powerful. One of these is the emotional freedom technique. It is very powerful and can be used from everything to getting more money, to letting go of fears and anxiety. Manifest Dreams Step by Step

Working with  law of attraction can get complicated and confusing.  Sometimes it is difficult to know if we are doing it right.  Breaking it down into a couple of basic steps can be helpful in order to stay focused and not get confused when you are working on manifesting your dreams.

Dream Manifesting 101

These simple steps are

1. Having a clear intention

2.Visualizing

3. Acting as if you already have it

4. Taking action

Having a Clear Intention

In order to get what you want, you have to know what you want.  Sound simple doesn’t it. But do you know how many times we change our minds.We want this business, no not that, this one. It is really important to be very clear and detailed about what you want.  Focus on the end result.  Then be open to the universe delivering your dream in an amazing way.

2. Visualizing

Spend lots of time day dreaming about the end result of your dream.  What does it feel like and look like to have it.  Tell stories out loud or written that contain lots of sensory detail. You will know when your doing this correctly when you feel like you are there in that moment. You will feel as if that daydream was so great, you might not even need the real thing.

3. Acting as if you already have it

You have to act as if you have what you are intending.  That it is already here. It is on it’s way. I frequently remind myself that my dream is in the works and I am walking toward it. This really works and is critical. As soon as you start thinking you don’ t have it and start focusing, on that your focus is on the lack and it gets stalled.  This step is  tricky and the more you do it, the easier it gets.

4. Taking Action

I personally find this step the hardest and the most important one as you work to manifest dreams.  There are those times that no action is required, but  most often  several actions will be required to achieve that dream.  So, how do you know if  action is inspired, or if you should take it.  It takes practice to get this.  If you feel an inspiration,  you have to first decide if you are going to act on it.  This inspiration can be very subtle.  It could be something as simple as seeing a name on a truck and calling or an add that catches your eye.  It takes practice to learn to feel that little nudge. It can be very subtle. This step is the one that probably stops more dreams from manifesting than any other.  You have to take that action when you feel the idea has arrived and your intuition says to go for it. I find it is often one step, and then the next, and the next.  I just trust and the steps build until one day- Wow- my intention is on the way to being realized.  Be open if  the action you are inspired to take seems to be leading you in a different direction from your original intention.   Give the universe the reins to take you on the best ride. If you try to control it, you may miss a great opportunity.  If you don’t act on something and it is not clear, don’t stress too much about it.   Know that another opportunity will come up.

Have lots of fun with these.  Do them often and see what shows up for you.

Books to Manifest Dreams

Hey Guys.

I wanted to share today a couple of  books  to help  manifest your law of attraction dreams.  I am an avid reader of law of attraction and manifesting books.  One might even say a readaholic  if there is such a word.   I always have four or five books on manifesting and spiritual topics going at any one time.  I love Amazon and order most of my books through them.  I find I don’t have to waste time looking and  can  often find a used copy.  Who doesn’t like to save a few bucks now and then.

Without further ado, here are two  I have read and loved on law of attraction and how to manifest dreams. These two are good guides to help of all those things you want to see showing up  in your life start to appear more frequently.  Both are good how to guides to keep you positive and up as you work on it.

This book is an inspirational  guide to manifesting those dreams that you have tucked away and an easy read. Grab it when you feel you are losing your momentum and need a boost.

Fabulous book on using Summer’s method to purposely daydream your way to all those things you are wanting.
Summer  also has a new book  out that is called Creative Flowdreaming is also a great book.

Manifest Dreams

Welcome to Guardians of The Dream- a site dedicated to helping you manifest dreams that are in waiting for you.   I have been working on law of attraction and manifesting for several years now, and have gotten pretty good at it most of the time.  I have to say, this was not the case in the beginning.  After working on it for quite a long time, I have really come to know what works and what does not.  Most of us will experience some success initially, when we start  to practice law of attraction and manifesting principles.  But soon, most of us reach a point where we are trying and nothing or very little is happening.

Manifesting is simple, yet not easy. Why?  We all have blocks.  I don’t care how spiritual you are or how much you have worked on this stuff,  there will be blocks coming up for you.   As you are working with law of attraction, you will encounter parts of you that are keeping your dreams from manifesting. Most of the time, they are unconscious and we are not even aware of what they are.   These aspects of us  are working to actually stop our success  to manifest dreams that we have.  To keep us from changing, as change is not safe.

The bad news is that in staying safe, we limit ourselves and miss out on a lot of what is there waiting for us to just reach out a little bit and have it.  When our guardians are telling us not to take that action we want to take, they are trying to keep us from getting hurt.  I have found as I worked on many issues that some guardians can be pretty formidable.  They are behind most compulsive behaviors like eating,  substance abuse, and shopping. We do not want to come face to face with them.  Lots of them are self hating.  I believe they are actually trying to help, and you will see this as you work on these parts of yourself.

Finding ways to get around our guardians or what some like to refer to as our shadow sides, is what I have been working on for many years.  It takes some pretty powerful programs to transform our selves and finally have those dreams come true.

They can.  I absolutely believe that no matter how many times you have tried without success,  you can succeed.  It takes effort.  The good news is the effort is fun and will lead you to an appreciation and love of yourself that is deep profound.

There are lots of great books and programs out there that really do work on a transformational  level.  Then there are things that really don’t help that much.  I have developed some techniques that I will share with you in future posts. Some of them are  pretty powerful.

So, regardless of what you are wanting;  better relationships, a new home, to lose weight, or more money there are resources here that will help you to gets those dreams to manifest a bit  faster, and more frequently.
