			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Where  I live it is mid winter.  We are well over a month past the winter solstice of December 21st.  This winter has been one of record snows with frequent  dumps of two feet or more.  Over the past few days there has been a slight warming trend and the sun suddenly feels a bit brighter than it has for the past few months.  As it warms the kitchen on the south side of my house,  it feels like a breath of heaven after such a cold dark long cold winter.  Winter, although far from over is starting to turn just ever so slightly.</p>
<p>If you are paying attention, you can sense that it is near the time when early bulbs will start there journey to the surface to emerge in glorious blooms and a riot of color.  Even though the emergence of Daffodils and Tulips is still several weeks away here in the North, I am aware of their awakening deep underneath the snow.</p>
<p>In the very early winter in November,  I was shopping and noticed one of our retailers had a lot of discount mark down bulbs at the end of the season. I ended up bringing home Tulips, and Daffodils in several types and colors.  I planted as many as I could right away as our ground here was not frozen yet, and we had no snow.  In the week I was doing this winter launched full force and I was unable to plant the rest. I stuck them in my refrigerator and planned to force them later on during the winter.</p>
<p>The other day, I pulled some  of the Tulips out of the package thinking I would plant them soon,  and noticed they were just starting to sprout with just a tiny fat green tip showing on the tulip bulbs. After resting quietly in my refrigerator for the past 15 weeks, something was telling the Tulips to start to grow.</p>
<p>The intelligence that plants have built into them amazes me in it&#8217;s simplicity.  What tells them it is time to sprout or time to emerge to the surface. Sun, warmth, or just a built in clock that signals them to grow.  They are always on time within a few weeks and put on a glorious display of beauty.</p>
<p>They understand their purpose,  and they perform with amazing energy and strength.</p>
<p>Contrast this to our species of humans.  We make things so complicated often and get our egos and minds so tied up in everything,  we often miss the whole point of something, get sidetracked, and have trouble figuring out any purpose for our lives.</p>
<p>It is a blessing bulbs do not have an ego like ours. Can you imagine.  The poor suffering things would be sitting there underneath the ground moaning and complaining about the lack of movement and feeling trapped by their circumstances in waiting, such as they are. They would totally miss the resting period, and the idea of just being and gaining strength. They would come out of the ground so exhausted from their mental battle with themselves and each other, that if they bloomed at all, it would be a pitiful display indeed.</p>
<p>Sitting down to meditate this morning,  an image of the tulips in my yard came into my mind. I could visualize them quietly resting, gaining strength, and just being.  Doing nothing and letting nature in it&#8217;s infinite intelligence direct them.  I sensed their tiny buds starting to just emerge. I could feel their patience and peace in waiting for the process to proceed.</p>
<p>I imagined myself a bulb under the earth just quietly resting there and gaining strength for whatever is to come.  I felt the importance of being and doing nothing in our path through life.  As I rested in this quiet place of being,  I felt peace, and strength. A feeling of surrender came over me.</p>
<p>Could we take a lesson from nature of the importance of being, of resting, and allowing ourselves to recharge and renew?  The seasons remind us that it is not only OK, but necessary to spend time in rest and quiet.  It is important to the success  of our efforts here on earth to rejuvinate, to go within, to listen to the still voice inside us that guides and directs our path.</p>
<p><strong>Meditation Exercise</strong></p>
<p>Sit comfortably in a chair, close your eyes, and take a few deep breaths.  Visualize yourself as a bulb underneath the earth resting and waiting gently and quietly.   Feel yourself quietly waiting and knowing that all is well.  Let go of any tension or let your breathing in and out relax your body.</p>
<p>Allow your ego, your mind, and any of the worries of daily living to be set aside.  Know you can come back to them, but for now just set down all these human burdens and let them go.   Imagine yourself as a bulb under the earth quietly resting.</p>
<p>Allow yourself to just be open to any communication from your higher self.   Rest quietly for 5 minutes or more just being open and receptive and taking in nourishment from your spirit.  If thoughts start to come back into your mind, just let them float off like clouds.</p>
<p>After resting in this place a few minutes,  you might make a few notes in a journal of anything you want to remember from this experienc<strong>e. </strong></p>
<p><strong>Prayer </strong></p>
<p>Divinity,</p>
<p>Thank you for your many blessings</p>
<p>for the plants and growing things that teach us how to live simply in our world</p>
<p>Thank you for  rest and renewal</p>
<p>for  wisdom</p>
<p>for the strength and nourishments that are provided to me</p>
<p>as I take the time to receive them</p>
<p>Thank you for clarity to see my path ahead.</p>
<p>Help me to know and follow my purpose</p>
<p>As easily and simply as the flowers.</p>
<p>Remind me of the importance of being.</p>
<p>That it is as necessary as water and food to me.</p>
<p>I thank you for allowing me to rest and renew in you</p>
<p>So that I might bloom in glory when the time is right.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Grief is such a part of our world, especially these days.  No matter how positive you are grief will come up for you. It is a normal reaction to loss.</p>
<p>If your dog dies, a family member develops an illness, or dies, or if you experience a change  in yourself you consider a loss, then you will experience grief.  It is a normal human response to loss.</p>
<p>It also can run counter to the positive, and joyful presence we are trying to achieve in manifesting our dream life.</p>
<p>So, what do you do?  Not grieve.  Change your mindset, or think about something else.</p>
<p>Well it is true that putting the most positive take  you can on your grief is helpful,  it is not the whole story.  If you are grieving,  do what you can to make your story positive. You can tell yourself you will feel better in time. You can make your story as positive as you can.</p>
<p>It is very important though, that you don&#8217;t block the grief. It needs to be released and experienced.  If you don&#8217;t release it,  it will actually create more resistance than if  you do experience it and release it.</p>
<p>The average person if probably grieving to a degree all the time.  All our losses in life bring it up.  Even smaller things like not being able to do as much as  you did when you were 10 years younger, or breaking your favorite bowl can bring out grief in us.</p>
<p>There are a couple good ways to release grief.</p>
<ul>
<li>Using EFT- The emotional freedom technique of tapping is really useful to release grief.  Free information can be found about how to do this on my site and elsewhere.</li>
<li>The Release Technique- check it out in the  resources tab- a great release method  for any emotions that you are experiencing. (Click on the resource link tab at top of page for more information)</li>
<li>Journaling</li>
<li>Therapy can sometimes be good- or just sharing with a good friend and allowing yourself sometime to let it out.  cry, shout , or whatever you need to do so  you can get resume with your joyful life sooner.</li>
<li>Spending some quiet time and just let the feelings surface and be expressed.</li>
</ul>
<p>It is often a misunderstood concept in law of attraction that negative emotions should not be felt and experienced.  If they are there, ignoring them will not help. In fact, it will slow you down even more.  Better to look at them, see what is there,  find ways to change your story to something more positive, and release the emotions that you need to. This will free you to be less resistive of the dreams that are waiting out there to come to you.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>The Downward Spiral Away From Your Dream</strong></p>
<p>How many times when you are trying to manifest your dreams, do you find yourself in a negative spiral in spite of everything you know about law of attraction.  It seems it takes a constant effort to be going down the road of getting closer to what you are wanting, instead of towards what you don&#8217;t.  I have been working on law of attraction for a long time. I have attracted some amazing things into my life. Yet, I still  find myself often in a downward spiral of thoughts even now.</p>
<p>I often don&#8217;t even realize that I am being negative. It still feels so normal to me.  My mind is rolling along criticizing someone or something- kind of going on it&#8217;s own.  I don&#8217;t feel great for sure. I have gotten off track.</p>
<p><strong>Recognizing Where You Are.</strong></p>
<p>When I recognize  I am moving away from manifesting my dreams,  I am grateful.   Because, then I can turn it around.</p>
<p>That is the first step. Becoming aware that you are doing it.  I find that in order to have this awareness,  I need to surround my self with ideas often that remind me of how I want to be thinking and feeling.  This really helps to undo years of programming of being the other way.  You  know, the life sucks and then.. stuff most of us grew up on.</p>
<p><strong>Helpful Resources To Stay On Track</strong></p>
<p>Some of the daily inspirations  I use are books, and CDs, and inspirational quotes.  I will give you some links at the bottom of the page for some of my favorites.</p>
<p>I try to listen to or read something on law of attraction every day. This reminds me of  the direction I want to be heading in, and often it is enough to turn things around for me.</p>
<p>Once you recognize your direction is off, here are some things that might help.</p>
<p>Find a thought that feels a bit better.  Don&#8217;t try to go from suicidal to joy. It won&#8217;t work.  Do find a thought that feels a step or two better. For example, the other day I was worried about a loss of income in a certain area and what would I do.  I started worrying  about what could happen.  Fear stepped in.  I had to consciously work at finding some better thoughts. I had to remind myself that I had job skills I could use if I needed to, and that they could fill in until things got back on track. I had to also remind myself that about other resources I have  that could help the situation.  I felt better after doing this. This is how you know. You will feel some relief, and a bit  better.  Your panic will go to mild anxiety, for example.  You will have some relief.  From here, you can keep looking for better and better thoughts.</p>
<p>Thoughts  of appreciation are also great for this.  Think of at least 10 or more things to be grateful for.  Spend a whole day being grateful for things.  Express gratitude even for situations that don&#8217;t feel that great .  Being grateful really helps turn things around. Appreciate whatever you can find to.  If you can&#8217;t think of something, make it up.</p>
<p>The third and very powerful thing to do is to turn your story around.  Listen to your mental story. The one that is going through your head. The not so good one. Start from what you don&#8217;t want,  decide what you do. Start telling this story in your head.  Act as if it is true.   You will know by how you feel, which story is the one you want to tell.  When you tell the negative story, you will feel it in your energy.  When you turn it around, you will smile and immediately feel better.  Don&#8217;t worry if the story is not true. It will be if  you keep telling it.</p>
<p>Have fun with this.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Does giving have an effect on your abundance?</strong><br />
A lot of people feel that giving is very important in allowing your abundance to flow freely. I have heard this opinion offered by many people with examples of how many of the wealthiest people in the world were very generous in giving to others less fortunate than themselves.</p>
<p>It is true that many wealthy individuals have felt that giving was key to their own abundance. They gave freely, and often.</p>
<p>I have to say that I like the idea. I feel that we are all here to have joyful experiences, and also to help others as we can.</p>
<p>Giving can show  that we trust  our abundance to continue to flow as we need it. It is a way of demonstrating  that  more is always coming to us, and it is safe to let go of some of what we have.  If we accept the idea that our flow does not come from us, but rather from our creator, then passing some of it to those in need shows our trust in our supply and in our creator.<br />
Giving makes us feel good, and can raise our vibration.</p>
<p>It is not necessary to give so much we deny our own needs and pleasures.  If we don&#8217;t have a lot of money to give, there are still many ways of giving. We can give our time and attention. We can share or pass on things we know longer need or want, without being so concerned about the monetary value.</p>
<p>These days I find I am much less concerned about my stuff and what it is worth. I am more likely to just give something  away I know longer need to someone who needs or appreciates it and not be bothered with advertising or selling it.  I know that more is always just around the corner and that it is safe to create space. I love letting go of things.</p>
<p>I have noticed other changes too. I no longer react when I get a fund raising call. I used to get angry and upset. Often in the past, I would  not take these calls, or judge the person on the phone for bothering me. Now I may give or not, and either way it is a conversation.  I can say no or yes without getting bothered either way. I don&#8217;t feel guilty if I say no and I don&#8217;t fret about if it was a legitimate charity or not. It is only money and it is for using, and for giving. I am much less attached to it.</p>
<p>I can&#8217;t honestly say I have noticed any correlation with my giving and increased money coming to me, or any thing like that. I do, however think it is connected to our abundance.  Perhaps it is just the attitude it allows us to have that makes a difference.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><!-- 		@page { margin: 0.79in } 		P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } --><span style="font-size: small;">Working with  law of attraction can get complicated and confusing.  Sometimes it is difficult to know if we are doing it right.  Breaking it down into a couple of basic steps can be helpful in order to stay focused and not get confused when you are working on <strong>manifesting your dreams</strong>.</span></p>
<p>Dream Manifesting 101</p>
<p>These simple steps are</p>
<p><strong>1. Having a clear intention</strong></p>
<p><strong>2.Visualizing</strong></p>
<p><strong>3. Acting as if you already have it</strong></p>
<p><strong>4. Taking action </strong></p>
<p><strong>Having a Clear Intention</strong></p>
<p>In order to get what you want, you have to know what you want.  Sound simple doesn&#8217;t it. But do you know how many times we change our minds.We want this business, no not that, this one. It is really important to be very clear and detailed about what you want.  Focus on the end result.  Then be open to the universe delivering your dream in an amazing way.</p>
<p><strong>2. Visualizing</strong></p>
<p>Spend lots of time day dreaming about the end result of your dream.  What does it feel like and look like to have it.  Tell stories out loud or written that contain lots of sensory detail. You will know when your doing this correctly when you feel like you are there in that moment. You will feel as if that daydream was so great, you might not even need the real thing.</p>
<p><strong>3. Acting as if you already have it</strong></p>
<p>You have to act as if you have what you are intending.  That it is already here. It is on it&#8217;s way. I frequently remind myself that my dream is in the works and I am walking toward it. This really works and is critical. As soon as you start thinking you don&#8217; t have it and start focusing, on that your focus is on the lack and it gets stalled.  This step is  tricky and the more you do it, the easier it gets.</p>
<p><strong>4. Taking Action</strong></p>
<p>I personally find this step the hardest and the most important one as you work to m<strong>anifest dreams</strong>.  There are those times that no action is required, but  most often  several actions will be required to achieve that dream.  So, how do you know if  action is inspired, or if you should take it.  It takes practice to get this.  If you feel an inspiration,  you have to first decide if you are going to act on it.  This inspiration can be very subtle.  It could be something as simple as seeing a name on a truck and calling or an add that catches your eye.  It takes practice to learn to feel that little nudge. It can be very subtle. This step is the one that probably stops more dreams from manifesting than any other.  You have to take that action when you feel the idea has arrived and your intuition says to go for it. I find it is often one step, and then the next, and the next.  I just trust and the steps build until one day- Wow- my intention is on the way to being realized.  Be open if  the action you are inspired to take seems to be leading you in a different direction from your original intention.   Give the universe the reins to take you on the best ride. If you try to control it, you may miss a great opportunity.  If you don&#8217;t act on something and it is not clear, don&#8217;t stress too much about it.   Know that another opportunity will come up.</p>
<p>Have lots of fun with these.  Do them often and see what shows up for you.</p>

<p>Manifesting is simple, yet not easy. Why?  We all have blocks.  I don&#8217;t care how spiritual you are or how much you have worked on this stuff,  there will be blocks coming up for you.   As you are working with law of attraction, you will encounter parts of you that are keeping your dreams from manifesting. Most of the time, they are unconscious and we are not even aware of what they are.   These aspects of us  are working to actually stop our success  to <strong>manifest dreams</strong> that we have.  To keep us from changing, as change is not safe.</p>
<p>The bad news is that in staying safe, we limit ourselves and miss out on a lot of what is there waiting for us to just reach out a little bit and have it.  When our guardians are telling us not to take that action we want to take, they are trying to keep us from getting hurt.  I have found as I worked on many issues that some guardians can be pretty formidable.  They are behind most compulsive behaviors like eating,  substance abuse, and shopping. We do not want to come face to face with them.  Lots of them are self hating.  I believe they are actually trying to help, and you will see this as you work on these parts of yourself.</p>
<p>Finding ways to get around our guardians or what some like to refer to as our shadow sides, is what I have been working on for many years.  It takes some pretty powerful programs to transform our selves and finally have those dreams come true.</p>
<p>They can.  I absolutely believe that no matter how many times you have tried without success,  you can succeed.  It takes effort.  The good news is the effort is fun and will lead you to an appreciation and love of yourself that is deep profound.</p>
<p>There are lots of great books and programs out there that really do work on a transformational  level.  Then there are things that really don&#8217;t help that much.  I have developed some techniques that I will share with you in future posts. Some of them are  pretty powerful.</p>
<p>So, regardless of what you are wanting;  better relationships, a new home, to lose weight, or more money there are resources here that will help you to gets those dreams to manifest a bit  faster, and more frequently.</p>
