It is fascinating to me how books arrive in my life. Books that are part of my spiritual path seem to come to me in weird ways sometimes. They fall off a shelf in the bookstore, or I am 15 feet away from the rack and I focus on one.

I believe these books find us, or put another way, we attract them when we are ready to progress to them in our journey.

The Radical Forgiveness Book came into my life for almost free when I was listening to a webcast and he was the featured speaker this particular evening. I almost did not listen as it was one of those evenings I was tired, and not wanting to do much. I decided it would be pretty easy to just sit back and listen to someone talk for an hour.

I think of it as the spiritual version of tuning out to the television. I wish I could credit whoever was organizing this web cast, but I had been listening to so many around that time, I am sorry to say I cannot.

At the end of the talk which was very good by the way, the first so many people to zip on over to his site could get a free book and pay only shipping. Well, loving a bargain, I zoomed over and signed up. It even required me to put in my bank account routing numbers to get the book. Something normally, I would never do. I knew it would be OK, and a few days later, I got the book in the post.

Radical Forgiveness is an amazing book. I found it too be very powerful and the perfect next step in my personal growth and healing journey. It is a book that you have to do, not just read in order to benefit from it’s message.

Colin teaches a process of forgiveness that goes far beyond our traditional concept of it. It is based on the idea that if we create our lives, then we also create or co-create the situations that are traumatic to us or that annoy us the most. That we do this in order to grow and progress on our path.

He makes the case that we often keep having the same types of issues and relationships in our lives until we can get the message of this particular pattern, whatever that might be. That struck a cord with me. There are a few issues in my life, I have not been able to get beyond, no matter how much I work at it. They pop up again and again in relationships, and in other areas of my life.

In his 13 step process, he shows you how you can transform situations in your life, and stuck emotions that you might not even be aware of. In doing the step by step process in the book, you can transform the situation in really powerful ways. The release and forgiveness just seem to come naturally, without trying if you allow the book to do it’s work.

I have started to use the process often, and it has really helped me to unhook from a lot of victim thinking, I was not even aware of. I have been able to see things from a much different perspective, especially my judgments towards others.

This book is about a real shift in thinking from being victim to being one with everything and everyone. It is really about taking responsibility for everything in your life and accepting it is all perfect and in divine order. I have let go of some very charged emotions from the past. I am feeling very appreciative of this book as a help to continue this process of releasing. I can feel much lighter after doing a session of Colin’s 13 steps in “Radical Forgiveness.”

This book will not be for everyone. It is hard to think that misfortune, or earthquakes can be perfect. It takes a lot, to see consider that someone having something terrible happen to them might be part of their chosen path.

If you can set aside any judgments, and allow yourself to do the 13 steps on areas in your life you are ready to transform, I think you will find it a very powerful and useful book. It is going to be part of my spiritual arsenal for some time to come.

If you want to visit Colin’s website, you can go to http://www.radicalforgiveness.com/

If you do decide to purchase the book, or if someone throws it in your car window onto the seat, please let me know your experience. I would really like to hear about it.
